i'd put any money into having a frame shop straiten the frame to get your alignment back. as for the paint: if you just want to make sure the paint doesn't peel off, there are several things you can do. clear nail polish for one. that's the cheap thing to do. you could also get a little bit of touch up paint mixed, dab it on there, sand the whole fender down with very fine paper, and then buff it. just depends on how good you want it and how much you want to pay.
